Random Object

We ere each assigned a random object to photograph. We could choose to have it in color or back & white. We were to focus on "The Three C's"

According to my peers, one thing i did well was that i used the macro feature well to really capture the detail in the handle of the umbrella. It aslo creates a shiny effect on the side of the handle reflecting the side of the umbrella.

And one thing they suggested i work on was capturing more of the main part of the umbrella.

I agree with at they say because the main part of the umbrella is blurry in the background and is not the main focus of the photograph.

Remember that one thing that makes a good photographer is showing people the world in brand new ways. Everyone knows what an umbrella looks like, and everyone with a phone/camera can take a picture of an umbrella. In this shot you have shown us an umbrella (which we all still recognize) in a completely new and creative way. I think your point of view is what gives this photo its strength.
