Light Metering

We experimented with light metering in these photo's. To do this we turned the lights off in the room, turning only one computer screen on per person. Then we pointed the camera clsoe to the computer screen and let the camera adjust to the light on the computer. We then pulled away and took a picture of our group partner. We noticed in the picture that it came out light because the camera adjusted to the bright computer screen and nothing else.
In the second picture we did something simiar except we placed the camera next to our partners face and pulled away making the person look brighter and the computer screen being REALLY BIGHT.

Personal Metaphor

In this project I wanted to express what I felt in a way that was understandable. I feel it expresses what I wanted to say. During my high school years i've noticed how much people look down at me and other high school students. I feel like this project can relate to many teenagers/ high school students. Trying to move on with your life, and pursue goals and dreams can be hard when I am presieved as another ordianary imature high school student. I see my self as a person trying to break away from that "imature" stereotype.

I placed the words specifically in a way that it looks like there falling or looking down. I placed my head on an ants body because ants are often looked down on in society. I have my partner lookin down at me explaining how i feel. I also have myself placed on a blade of grass as if I were crawling like an ant. I think I could have combined my head and the ants body a little better than i did.
